Excellent opportunity to join a reputable financial institution, as a Member Services Consultant.
Located in the West, you will be the face and voice of the business, dealing with customers both in person and over the telephone.
This financial institution has been providing banking services for more than 50 years. They pride themselves on their outstanding service to customers and are therefore looking for an individual who shares the same qualities.
This is a Permanent, Part-Time role, working Monday to Friday, 11am-4pm. There is free parking on site!
Key Responsibilities:
* Process member transactions such as account transfers, withdrawals and deposits
* Cash handling and management
* File maintenance and account changes
* Accounts, interest rates, direct deposit options
* Balance each days cash and verify transactions
* Research and resolve member account problems/discrepancies
* Provide information to members regarding products and services
* Actively cross sell products and services
* Provide referrals to Lending officers to assist in achieving branch targets
* Make outbound calls to existing members
Required Skills & Experience:
* 2-3 years experience in a similar customer service role
* Experienced in customer resolution
* Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
* Previous sales experience, preferably in financial services
To be successful in this role, you must be totally customer focused and able to relate to each customer individually, understand their needs and responding accordingly.
You must also be able to comfortably promote and cross sell products and services relevant to customer needs.
To be considered for this role, you MUST have previous experience in banking or financial services, preferably as a teller or personal banker.
