Fantastic opening for an experienced Senior System Engineer to join a National IT Integrator. The IT System Engineer will maintain and administrate all networks and servers across its clients user base remotely and on-site. Must be able to handle multiple simultaneous projects across network/servers.

Must HAVE SECURITY CLEARANCE as you will be working with government departments based in Canberra

Responsibilities

• Administration, deploying, implementing and management of server/network infrastructure a large enterprise environment
• Management of systems ensuring maximum system availability by maintaining a stable, standard and secure technology platform.
• Performs and manage backups and hardware maintenance of servers
• Deliver tasks in accordance with project plans and dependencies.

Skills

• Strong experience of Windows 2003/2008 server issues, problem solving, design and implementation
• Experience supporting Active Directory - deployment and management
• Experiences with Exchange system 2003 / 2007
• Experience with Citrix and Vmware
• Solaris and Redhat experience a plus
• Microsoft SQL Server 2005 / 2008
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in implementing and managing network security and policy
• Manage the backup and restoration regime across the company's data
• Experience working with multiple clients
• Strong networking skills including: LAN/WAN experience and TCP/IP networking skills
• MCITP,MCSE and CCNA a plus
